Day 14; Zero Day @ Ahipara

Today we chilled out again, did our laundry and regrouped on our plans for the Raetea Forest.

The track notes list a man called Peter who is a support person for the Herekino & Raetea Forests so I decide to give him a call for any advice he may have. He was great and after a bit of a yarn I was confident that although it would be hard work, we would be fine.

Later on that evening Anna & Roger arrived back from the Raetea Forest. They said it was tough, but fine. They said it was a good idea that we were doing it over two days with our big packs though.

Good news! All go for the Raetea šŸ™‚
