About

My name is Sharlene Laskey, I’ve not so long ago completed a Bachelor of Aviation degree with Massey University, and am halfway through a Bachelor of Accounting degree. Given I’d like to continue to fly in general aviation (where the pay is not so great) I plan to have my own accounting business set up to make the cash so I can enjoy the best of both worlds.

I’m passionate about fitness, hiking, traveling, and aviation. I’m very excited about getting back on the Te Araroa Trail in NZ for the fourth time this 2016 / 2017 season!

I am from New Zealand and that is where I currently live, it truly is the best backyard in the world, and have also spent some time living in Australia.

I’ve done a small amount of overseas traveling to Fiji, Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Bahrain. I hope to travel even more in the future 🙂

I hope you enjoy my blog…..
